AUB’s Warm Neighbors Program

It Gives You A Warm Feeling. It Provides a Child a Warm Home.

Sometimes, neighbors need a little help. You can help AUB assist those in need through the Warm Neighbors Program. It requires less of you in a month's period than what you may pay for a soft drink at lunch, but it can do so much for a family in need.

Unexpected bills, extreme weather that causes customers to use more energy to heat or cool, and other tough circumstances can sometimes leave a family short of funds at billing time. Working with Coordinated Charities of McMinn County, AUB provides a way to help those in need to maintain their service without interruption.

There are two way you can help:
  1. Click on this link, print and sign the Warm Neighbors Program Participation Certificate and send it to us via fax (745-6004), U.S. Mail or in person. This will authorize AUB to add $1.00 to your utility bill each month. We will forward your dollar to Coordinated Charities. They use these funds to assist people in our community who need it the most.

  2. If you don't want AUB to add $1.00 to your monthly bill, you can still help. Simply check the box titled "check to add $1.00 for Warm Neighbors" on the front of your utility bill. Then simply add a dollar to the amount shown on the bill when you pay. AUB will forward it to Coordinated Charities. You can use this method any month you choose.
