AUB POLICY CHANGES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

As the rapidly evolving situation unfolds with COVID-19, we continue to evaluate our business model and determine how we can best meet the needs of our customers.  The balancing act we are trying to perform is delivering our essential services while meeting the recommendations of the CDC and other agencies to prevent the spread of the virus to our customers and our work force.  With the declaration of statewide and federal states of emergency, that situation has changed dramatically.

Under normal operating conditions, the only transactions requiring a customer to physically come into the office is for (1) a new or transferred service, or (2) a pay agreement.

As of this morning we are suspending our policies requiring customers to come into the office for these transactions for at least the next two weeks.   Our CSR’s will be available to complete these transactions over the phone until we resume normal services.  We will re-evaluate the situation on March 30, 2020 and provide additional guidance to our customers at that time.

With these policy suspensions, a customer may transact all normal business without coming into the office.   We are asking customers to please conduct your business with AUB remotely and not walk into the office lobby.  To assist in this request, we have set up additional resources to take payments over the phone.   You may also pay on-line, as well as utilize our drive-through window and depository.

We understand there may be other situations that require you to meet with an AUB representative face-to-face.   We simply ask you call the office and set up an individual appointment to do so.

We will continue to monitor the situation and take additional precautionary steps as the situation changes.   As always, we appreciate your patience and support as we all work through these unusual times.
