AUB LINEMAN ASSIST WITH HURRICANE HELENE RECOVERY EFFORTS IN GREENEVILLE, TN
Athens, Tn.— Recently, a dedicated team of linemen from the Athens Utilities Board (AUB) traveled to Greeneville, TN, to assist with power reconstruction following the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene. In the wake of the storm, many residents were left without electricity, and AUB’s skilled linemen stepped up to help restore power to the community.
During their time in Greeneville, AUB linemen worked alongside local utility crews, showcasing their expertise and commitment to service. They faced challenging conditions but remained focused on ensuring that families could return to normalcy as quickly as possible.
Kevin Goins, Power Superintendent, remarked, “We received an outpouring of calls from Greeneville praising their dedication. Elgin Gentry, Jr., lead lineman for Greeneville Energy Authority, even noted that they are the hardest working team he has ever collaborated with.”
