David St. John Returns as Superintendent of Power Division at AUB
ATHENS, Tn. – Athens Utilities Board (AUB) is pleased to announce the return of David St. John as Superintendent of the Power Division. David previously held this position for nearly four years, from February 2017 to January 2021, and brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and a deep connection to the utility industry.
David grew up in a family of utility engineers and managers, becoming the third generation in his family to pursue this profession. With over 31 years of professional experience, including 20 years as a power utility consultant, David has worked on a wide range of projects, from very small systems to some of the largest utilities in the country. His vast knowledge spans diverse topics in the field, ensuring he is well-equipped to meet the needs of AUB and its stakeholders.
Since joining AUB over 11 years ago, David has held several leadership roles, primarily focused on power systems. His efforts have consistently driven efficiency for local ratepayers and AUB employees, reflecting his commitment to serving the Athens community.
